In addition to traditional stays in California, OUI CONNECT gives young english people the opportunity to live in another American state (from Utah to Florida, via Oregon or Colorado, etc.). - As part of the “ELSEWHERE in the USA” program, the vast majority of families have already hosted a young person. They have therefore already “proven their worth.” We know they are open, available, curious about foreign countries, and enthusiastic about the idea of sharing a moment of life with a young French person again;

- The states selected by OUI CONNECT are renowned for their beauty, grandeur, and attractiveness. Utah, Arizona, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Nevada, and Oregon are home to most of America’s National Parks and legendary sites (Grand Canyon, Zion Park, Monument Valley, Las Vegas, Boston etc.).

- Being an exchange student in other U.S. states such as Utah, Arizona, or Massachusetts is an exceptional experience, as it allows students to discover the cultural diversity of the United States beyond the most well-known big cities. Each state offers a unique lifestyle: Utah stands out for its spectacular landscapes and strong sense of community, Arizona impresses with its sunny climate and iconic natural parks, while Massachusetts immerses students in the heart of American history and a stimulating academic environment. Living with a host family, attending a local high school, and sharing everyday life with American teenagers help students quickly improve their English, gain independence, and build strong, lasting connections, all while enjoying an authentic immersion in American life. For students placed in southern Utah, optional excursions may also be offered, such as a visit to Bryce Canyon, a day at Zion National Park, or a tour of Las Vegas, providing an even richer discovery of the American West.
